These orchids are mainly green in colour and have prominently upswept lateral sepals.

i have found what looks like fringed mantis orchid next to my home in Kingsley. Is this a rare occurrence in urban Perth. if so, I am concerned that the spot it is growing is planned for disturbance by main roads soon. It is in an area of Tuart community.
They’re definitely not known widely to be in the metro, but I have heard of the odd one popping up as a single in a couple of metro locations. Definitely not the norm to be in the metro.
