    Hello,
wonderful photos of thelym. speciosa! I’m a retired german orchidfriend. From 18th of August until 29th of September I will visit Southwest Australia. It would be a pleasure for me to see this species. May I get some advices to the locations? Thank you very much. Joachim

My mother & father have several different types of Orchids. Chocolate & even a beautiful bat Orchid I just know they would love this one. Their 50th anniversary is coming up is there some place I could send for one?

This is an endangered species and is highly protected. it is illegal to remove them from the wild (fines of up to $400 000). Do not attempted to buy one and they should be visited sparingly if at all.

It should also be noted that WA orchids have a complex relationship with fungi and will not survive without them. Kings park has been able to grow them (The regular queen that is) for conservation purposes but that took 10 years even with specialist skills and equipment.
